A perplexed mind; thoughts scattered
A tender soul; An aching heart
The lub dub beat trying to keep pace
Nursing wounds all the way.
Nurturing the carcass of love lost
Who would have thought ?
Searching for happiness everywhere;
Still faithful to life that has not been fair,
With dreams in eyes,
