He stood there wide eyed
And glanced at the silent sea,
At the end of the white waters
She looked out of her windows too;
Feeling ... the silent breeze.
Two different worlds
Through different eyes;
Two different shores
And yet the same skies;
Where the waves in its merry mirth
Hushed their differences.
It was the longing of togetherness
The longing to be one ;
Like a pearl to her oyster;
Like a mother to her son.
He breathed those breezes
And his lips murmured her name;
That echoed across the world so far
And in his lonely heart;
It perched once again.
She felt the soft waters
Slip across her fingers ;
And she whispered his name...
Gently with the waves it drifted
To his lonely heart;
Where it perched forever again.
And the two different worlds;
Through different eyes
Mingled to be one
Like the infinite blue skies.
The waves..... In its merry mirth
Had hushed their difference.
