Time to celebrate Ma Durga,

To rejoice the Mahishasura Mardini.

To welcome and celebrate a daughters homecoming.

But, why wait for Navratri?

I wonder!!!

For there is a Goddess in us all.

I am Goddess Lakshmi, when I step out of my home each day for work.

I am Goddess Annapurna, when I cook a hearty meal for my family.

I am Goddess Parvati, who fasts for the well-being of her husband.

I am Goddess Saraswati, when I sit to teach my child, the lessons of Life and of Books.

I am Goddess Sita, when I am always by my husband’s side, in good and bad times.

I am Goddess Durga, when I stand up to protect my family from known and unknown enemies.

I am Goddess Kali, Who can stand against anything to safeguard herself and her beliefs.

I am all this and more...

And so are you.

We don’t need nine days to celebrate the daughters of land.

We must Cherish, Value and above all Respect them all year round.

For there is a Goddess within me and you!!!
