Kissed his unborn blood who was still embraced
by the womb, bade her adieu, he, wiping her cheeks
'See you love' relived a hope within
Asked for graces, asked for strength
not to conquer the foes, but
to come back
to see the eyes and beauty of her she would give to his child.
“Cry not my lady, each tear you shed
lessens a drop of blood in me.
I'll touch you I vow, either by skin
or by spirit. I will touch you I vow.
Your hair will blow when no leaf would
That would be me my lady
touching and embracing you"
He left.
He left his haven paving the way with commotion
of what was left behind
Preordain of where he destined
slightly annihilated his instinct
Soldiers are people of God who calls
whenever he wants, after all.
Every throb in core of him
while knocking off nemesis
skipped, by the remembrances he left mourning there
Still he fought for the nation
for the people for the mankind
for dignity of his robes
for him.
Burned the candles from both ends
just to enlighten the country
The wounds were deeper than oceans
The stabs were redder than blood
as the skins were not of him alone but
of the people he lived for
and ones he left to meet soon.
'Miss you', she ended up the conversations with
'See you soon' he replied to her cries
A second felt like an hour
An hour a month
and a month eternity
For a new soul had already arrived
yelling and shouting for father.
As if the echoes of fires
was hitting the son and he cried
He yearned to kiss him on him
Though enemies needed to be still for life
And so resoluted he
to go. Where rivals craved to be dead
Where this ill will would be anguished forever.
He fought with every ounce he had grown since birth
with every gut he was graced
Airs smelled bloods, soils turned moist
He conquered them he felt
before something penetrates his skin over his bosom
near his heart into his core
tearing everything beneath.
The Lady slept expecting him to come and carry the son
To hug them to his core of whose demise
she wasn't obvious with.
She kissed him in their son
pleaded to lord for him
and slept smiling as if he was going to meet her
the next morn.
And he did. He came
wrapped in tricolor enclosed in steel
and nestled in orange marigolds
Before the fragrances could reach the lungs of the home
it broke. The pillars which held the hopes
shattered. Each mote did burst
every heart skipped pounding.
Not a tear came out
Too pensive to cry t'was
The lady elated as belief in divinity
had triumphed o'er anything again
He had come.
The son didn't cry that morn
for his father had come.
All praised the audacious
granted their last salutes
took him to God
He departed with the last wound in heart
leaving a soul divided in two
And for the first time
She smiled seeing him depart.
His soul had left his body but not her
As she conversed in skies with him
her hair blew. So tremendously.
And not a leaf prompted
There he was, embracing her
Saw him standing there without any shadow
she, smiled as the vow was respected.
In lieu of any curse uttered to foes
consoled herself to comprehend
to what was destined years ago.
Those vows yelling to be settled
Blessed their son to make every atom of those
sniped the man she loved, vanish
did cede she, a vigorous salute to the child.
