Camouflaged by an invisible veil
is a face on the very exterior,
Concealing more than it can ever reveal
lest it be ridiculed as inferior.
This facade becomes your Cosmo-identity
guarded and tutored for acceptance,
Enthralled to live up-to the worldly expectations
neglecting the proliferating inner despondence.
A level deeper is the face closer to your true self
the window to your mystical world,
Giving out quite a lot
a lot still remains furled.
The congenial presence of your loved ones
comforting you to be more of who you really are,
Dodging them to believe that they have nailed it
unaware, that they're near, yet too far.
The third face, in-existent for the world
is undoubtedly your truest reflection,
Mirroring your free spirit and thoughts
Unabashed of illusionary rejection.
Though unbounded and indomitable
it has an inherent tendency to shun the limelight,
For reasons that forever may remain unknown
The third face shall be remembered in history as the unobtrusive knight.
