Darkness shrouded the air around

The Lune perched itself on a cloudy mound

The silence in the air, so engulfed

The crickets with its sound, so sulked;

A whiff of warmth in the chill,

A spark around, made its presence feel

Looked aside to spot the aura

Swayed around, the trees and flora;

A silent whisper came to say,

'Look for me, in a different way,

I stand by you in darkness and light,

Perceive me , in your happiness and fright

I live by you through day and night

Feel me here, through cries and hue

You moved ahead, I stayed Residue.'

The sun had cast its golden ray

The misty lake made its way,

Walking into the haze, I felt

In my front, that you knelt,

Pleading with your arms held high,

You murmured with a smile, so sly,

'I get you again, with a spurt,

Remember? The "Death Knell in my Heart",

And that, you and I had just fought through

The war of travails that none did rue...'

Looked at you with sin and fright,

The sun moved on to noon and twilight,

We spoke aloud for hours and so

It was just time to move and go;

Letting me free, you tearfully said,

'The world ignored me in fear and dread

Through nights again, I shall meet you,

You move ahead, while I stay Residue.'
