Darkness black, fades to white
Horizon clears, gush of light,
Childhood dreams of love and flair
Rise of Sun from the hues of red
Nightmares hid in booms of light,
Smile on my face, heart of fright.
I was the King, the royal one,
Waded through weeds ,second to none.
Sun on top, and I fall in Love
I look at you, your eyes avoid
Coax you to be with me
Stay in me, through morning wee
And when you held my hand
The king felt high, Royal again,
As you held me close to you
I knew, I conquered all in view,
But then you left me in myriad feel
Could never fathom, what was the deal...
The king lost all, all it had saved,
Wriggled in gails, he dreamt to brave,
He was now poor, the poorest of them all,
He had given, all he had...
I waited and waited for the sun to shine,
To hear the winds tell, you were mine,
The clouds did clear
Your breath, I could hear,
And as the sun sets, you finally look up to me,
I lived like a pauper, I'll die like a King.
