The silent grass enlivens

With sounds of

Little black hair.

Voices fill the air

With old politics

Speaking out,

And young love,

Whispering.

Strolling joints

Beside

Running feet

Blue toothed ears

Speaking to air;

Texting fingers

And deaf smiles

Under wrinkling eyes.

The sleeping flower awakens

With sounds of

Tiny little chuckles.

Voices fill the air

Of old hands

Holding tight

And young feet

Speeding.

Huffing breath

Beside,

Hiding faces

With jutting out ears,

Tagging fingers,

And silent smiles

Ander watchful eyes.

As the sun goes down, forgiven;

Dusk changes,

And dawn re-arranges.
