My thoughts waver
Like a silverfish
Slip and disappear
But you can see
The damage done
Beyond repair
My thoughts quiver
Like an eye in contact
With another and held there
Exchange many dreams
Of last many births
In a whiff and are lost
My thoughts go haywire
Like a fallen woman
Who commits many sins
But returns home
With handful of food
To her hungry kids
My thoughts go into pieces
Like a shredded mirror
Where each new face emerges
With many questions
One by one I drown them
Into the realm of no return
My thoughts flow softly
Like snowflakes
In the moonlit night
And sleep cuddled
In the arms of waves
Under the pillow of night
My thoughts embrace
But can’t hold
What I thought was mine
My thoughts run silently
Without any hope
On the oblivion of time
