Those who want to have a quiet holiday should book a hotel or a sea resort in South Goa. However, for those who prefer to stay in crowded areas and love hustle and bustle should lodge themselves in North Goa. 

Sea food lovers can really enjoy the place. Goan fish curry is a delicacy. Prawn Balchao is another favourite dish of the people of Goa. Apart from seafood, cashew nuts of Goa are quite famous. Available in various varieties the cashew nut industry is a big earner as far as trade is concerned.

Churches hold a special attraction for the tourists. The Basilica of St. Francis Xavier houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. Held by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, the place is visited by lakhs of people every year.
