I stood at the edge of the ship

Looking at the beauty beyond the horizon

The sun was setting while flashes of memories engulfed me, an effect like poison

I closed my eyes and let a sigh 

and my thoughts rose even high

From those like sweetest water to those that almost turned me to ashes

I felt on my cheeks the cool breeze as though had blown for my mind to freeze

I opened my eyes , the sun had set and night had spread 

My mind tried to create a chaos yet again , the silence around Like everything was dead

 I focused beyond the silence and I heard a rhythm , yes it was my heart beating and steady and I realised it was not yet the end , the road just had a bend

I looked towards the diamond studded sky the mesmerising sight and the glow, the beauty in its light 

As though gave me strength to fight

I braced myself to begin from the beginning just like a newly born fawn

Waiting for the darkness to clear 

the night to disappear

ready to face a new, brand new dawn
