           Beggar
Appear with shabby clothes, never combed hair
Stinking smell, hungry looking body
The eyes too deep like a well in a desert
The cheeks with mere skins with no flesh

Suffer from cold during night,
Heat of the sun during day light,
Torrential rain for months in monsoon,
Can you feel the trouble of a fellow human?

No shelter to take a nap,
No clothes to keep from cold,
No adequate food to be free from hunger,
No human love to care.

Refused to have a cup of tea
From the shop like others do
And sit with others on the bus and train too.
Despised by all, pitied by none

Oh! Men, consider the have-nots as fellow humans
They too have heart and mind.
Earnestly longing for loving words
And caring look from fellow humans.
