So here I was sitting on a table of the famous Café Coffee Day waiting for my coffee to arrive while holding my favorite novel “The Fault in our Stars” in my hand.

“Some infinities are larger than other infinities.” I read a line from TFIOS and the waiter put down the coffee on me table. I was about to take a sip, just then I saw a geeky yet gorgeous girl sitting past me holding the same book which I was holding.

Something caught my attention apart from those wondrous birds chirping their beautiful song which was understood to I guess, only me.

And then, as I took another sip from my coffee, I looked at that geeky girl with the cutest dimple I had ever seen in my life. She was smiling momentarily while arranging the strands of her hair which seem to pester her while she read TFIOS. She took her index and the middle finger and put those hair behind her ears which were embraced by the beautiful diamond earrings.

I gulped my coffee, smiling and staring sheepishly at that girl.

Just when I was about to take another sip, her eyes met mine and she smiled back. A sudden display of the world’s beautiful smile made me nervous and I quickly put that very novel in front me.

(I was quite nervous, yet determined to talk to her)

I lowered the book to see if I had made the worst first impression on that very geeky girl. Yet when I looked towards her, she was all the more staring and giggling at me. I smiled.

The book caught her attention. Hazel Grace Lancaster she seemed to me. I stood up while she kept on her smile. It was a smile one could die for. I walked towards her and then asked to sit beside her. She smiled. I guess it was a yes for me. I sat beside her like an idiot. She giggled.

I said, “I guess, the world is not a wish-granting factory.”
She smiled and replied, “If it weren’t you wouldn’t be reading this book.”

She giggled again. Her face, now looked like the one you see in your dreams. She looked a lot more happy.

I said, “Yeah, that’s so true. Want to have another coffee ?”
“What I had just said.” I thought, I made a blunder.
She said, “Well, I don’t drink much of coffee but if you like you may order it for yourself. I’ll accompany you.”

I was pretty much out of my senses. I couldn’t believe to what I heard just now.

I said, “Please, pardon me.”
She said, “Silly, I would love to talk to a stranger who seemed to stare at me while I arranged my hairs, And then nervously put a book forward when his eyes met mine.” She giggled a bit.
I said, “I guess, the genies granted my wish.”
She giggled and said, “OF COURSE”

We talked over the book for about half an hour and then I asked out her name. She said, “I am Sneha.”
I said, “Sneha Malhotra ? Army School ?”
She said, “Yeah, right and you ?”

I could not express my excitement, she was the same girl I once had a crush on. I said while controlling my excitement, “I am Shyam, same Army School, we were classmates in 3rd and then you left the school in class 5th.”

“Yeah, how can I forget, Shyam Singh, the footballer.” She was quite surprised.
“Right.” I said.

We talked for almost 3 hours. The birds sang to celebrate our reunion. It seemed that it was in our destiny to meet up again. A lot more can happen over a cup of coffee and here, Shyam found his love again.
