Who Am I?
My family had settled down in New Jersey,
And after I died a place was named after me.
As I was and still am a great inventor, I’ve learned that no one needs a particular mentor.
I had many friends and they were all my guides, who helped me achieve my dream of inventing light.
My laboratory is in Menlo Park,
The place from where I got a great start.
My interest of inventing has taught me well.
For now I am famous and life had been swell.
Being an inventor, I invented lots of things,
That still remain where I used to sit and think.
I had lost my aid in both of my ears,
But that didn’t stop me from overcoming my fears.
For now, I rise and stand tall,
Can you guess who I am? Can you guess at all?
