How persuasive,
How powerful,
How effectual,
Is this color Red
Just a pinch of it
And I became your consort,
The mistress of your stronghold
How impactful is,
A pinch of this color Red
For it changes the pattern
Of my life and death
How strange yet strong
Is this color Red
A pinch of it and the burn, the itch, the scar
Corrosion till eternity it leaves on ‘Me’
The neighbors don’t know ‘Me’
The onlookers recognize not ‘Me’
But this color Red
How could this be powerful enough?
To bring a change-a spot, in my entirety.
I deny! This pinch of color Red.
