Words bubbling up, spouting and rushing

Lips pursed to  hold back the deluge gushing

Desperately trying to stem the cascade

Threatening to spew and sputter and invade

Squirming and squinting with the effort

Trying in vain to silence the springing retort

Finally, a blessed release

And my mind is at ease

The teeming retorts gurgle and glide

Yes, it's  better to let it  slip and slide

This I know, this I confirm

It's better to speak out now loud and firm

Oh the ease, the peace after the din

Never  will I silence the voice  within

Will shout out loud  or whisper instead

Than bear the weight of Things unsaid!
