It all started when a green leaf had grown, 

The floods and the fires had formed a miracle of their own.

The first living being ever stepped into the world.

Boundaries of existence danced and twirled.

In line were many more to come,

Lions, fish and others quite some.

Another marvel hit the earth,

When the first human was given birth.

The happy story ends here,

As the despair that follows is hard to adhere.

The humans were the cause of their own destruction.

Though, in court they pleaded 'it's a misconception'

Enraging the seas, betraying their land,

Their crimes are many...

What I don't understand,

Why this resemblance to the devil is uncanny?
