Another day, another tragedy and ,another form of torment awaiting for me. My whole life felt like a Pandora box of various forms of punitive measures. Every morning I receive a unique punishment as my breakfast. Ironical isn’t it , that people outside term me insane when they themselves refrain from even sparing a look ,but take a great deal of pleasure in discovering new ways of torturing me. 264 days of being embraced with nothing but silence ,today I woke up to a noise and laughed like a maniac thinking it is death himself knocking on my door. But something even more bewildering happened, something which looked like a human was pushed inside my room. My eyes metre striking pair of Blue eyes, and it was confirmed he was of my species.
She came again, but surprisingly tonight her song wasn't that of lamentation, but of hopes and dreams of freedom. Adam Kent was his name whose eyes had mirrored my gloom and insanity, yet hopes. And my lark’s melody was testimonial of the fact that Adams arrival could be that turning point in my life of which the 17 year old me, Juliette was waiting since 6336 hours.
It’s been 10 days since the addition of Adam in the company which included me, my notebook my broken pen and my madness. It felt nice listening to a voice which was not mine. Soon I grew dependent on him for words and consideration, and he for learning the ways of asylum. There was a different sort of serenity with Adam which scared me, my insolvency founded rest with his tranquillity .Still neither could I bring myself to reveal about my horrifying condition due to which a landed here ,nor did he tell me his reasons ever. It was a mystery ,yet to be solved.
One night I felt someone stroking my hair gently in my sleep. I thought it was my lark so I smiled, and moved my fingers to stroke it back , but as soon as I touched it ,I felt touching something coarse. Startled, I opened my eyes only to see Adam flashing his dimples at me, petrified I them wishing it was just nightmare. Next morning I woke up only to see Adam absolutely fine, although confused about how he managed to survive my fatal touch, I felt at ease.
One day I was taken away far from my cell and Adam by Warner, the son of the Supreme Commander of Reestablishment and only to get forced by him to exhibit my powers. When I refused to do so, he compelled me to torture a kid. Tired of breathing uselessly I tried to kill myself but a man with a pair of similar blue eyes saved me. Adam Kent was here.
Once we were out, the entire mansion was bombarded by a group of rebellion. It was then we confessed our love to each other, and went on to visit Adam’s brother James.
