"Hello Ma'm, would you like to have some breakfast?" the good looking air hostess woke her from a nice sleep. A reluctant answer surfaced, "Yeah, sure". She was really scared to have food in flight thinking they would serve "Egg" passing it as vegetarian. She was flying to Copenhagen from Doha. Qatar Airways had facilities fair enough for a first time international traveller. She was quite tired of the long journey because it was an extended trip with a day's halt in Doha. And as a scared vegetarian, she had been living on just cornflakes and fruits ever since the journey started. Once breakfast was served, she slowly opened it and her heart sank with a clear thud. Eggs again. She nicely wrapped the omlete as it was initially and had the fruits and juices to curb her appetite.

She never thought much about anything. She just faced the situation as it presented itself. The flight landed in Copenhagen and she made her own way out. The new company she joined, did not send anyone to pick her from airport or arrange a cab. You had to be your own guide. She knew her way though, she knew that now she had to take a train to Sweden from Copenhagen. She collected her baggage and for the first time stood in front of a walkway instead of an escalator to go down. She secured her two big trolleys in her hand and just stood there and in 30 seconds she was standing on the platform. She booked her ticket to Lund, Sweden. A swedish national she befriended near the ticket counter helped her to get into train and adjust her luggage. He also advised her about the station she should get down and all other details.

A happy Sivakami was now enjoying the sites outside. There were lots of huge windmills, sunny church steeples, etc. She was a bit nervous too, and looked around often in trepidation at the new surroundings, sometimes flipping through the newspaper put near her seat. Finally, Lund station arrived. When she set foot on the platform, she never knew that she was going to spend three long months there. She had gone for just four weeks as directed by her manager.
