If you could step inside my heart
for a moment or two
there was no need of this poem that’s meant for you
You wouldn't need a mirror
If you could pass by my eyes,
Which say you are a masterpiece, and this is no lies
You wouldn't need another friend who admires you to the core
If only you could read my prayers, for all God's love to pour
For someone as precious as you,
each day new prayers unfold
But today I wish laughter and love
For a heart as rare as Gold!
