Between the pages there’s a

world that has come from past

but leads to the future

Where I can travel to places

even while am seated on my chair

That has words that build a

castle, which comes from an

unknown dream

There are lines that crawl out

of the pages and enchant the

boring space in my room

There I hear the banter of a

prince and the roar of a dragon

There I meet a fearless bandit queen

I know what kindness is from sisters

who love each other like angels

From parents who are devoted

to their children

I value the true love of a man

who overcomes all impediments

to meet his beloved

I witness the wars that were

fought before I was born

I enjoy the action of superheroes

I feel the snowfall in summer and

the warmth of sun in winter

All between the pages while

still being seated, books open

the splendour of world to me
