Close your eyes and see what I see
Raise your hand and reach out to me.
Take off the sandals and let the gravels beneath
Tickle your skin as you walk bare feet.
The moistened soil imprints your smell,
The drops on the leaves have a story to tell.
The chirps around you is nature’s carol,
Its words tapped out of a wine barrel.
Do you recognize this cold breeze?
The way it brushes against your cheeks.
Come and dip your toes in the shallow water
And try to see the things that really matter.
