Readomania is excited to announce the acquisition of the worldwide publishing rights toArchana Sarat's new Crime Thriller, Sleeping Dogs. The book will hit the stores in 2022.

21-year-old Aarna suffers from repetitive, debilitating nightmares about her mother who committed suicide fifteen years ago. When her father commands her to shift to Mumbai, from her grandparent's home in Chennai, to be under his direct control, Aarna revolts. Not only does she hate the prospect of facing her stepmother, but she also despises her father's interference in her life.

A reluctant Aarna returns to Mumbai after fifteen years. Intrigued by her childhood, of which she has lost all memory of, she embarks on a quest to find out the reason behind her mother's suicide. Little did she know that she must let sleeping dogs lie.

Sarat says, 'Sleeping Dogs is a story that I have been toying with for the past four years. During this period, I worked on three screenplays, two other books, and a few short stories too. Also, I shifted countries, changed houses twice, and battled covid. Sleeping Dogs was my passion project through all of this. It was the one closest to my heart, and the one that I worked on whenever I got some breathing space. I am mighty proud of what I've written, and I can't wait to share the story with you. I hope you love Aarna, Yugan, and Devika, as much as I do.'

Archana Sarat loves to narrate tales to both children and adults.
