~The Math of Love~
You know Math expresses love more cleanly than anything ever can.
I wish you the fate of parallel lines.
Because parallel lines are better than intersecting lines.
Those that meet and cross each other but once and then go away never to see each other again.
I wish you the fate of parallel lines because they are better than asymptotes that are always trying to reach each other but are not destined to.
At least parallel lines are always right next to each other, assured without a doubt that they will never leave the other’s side.
The only true love is in the circle. The line that finds its way to its lover and forms an impenetrable togetherness that nothing can break.
If you are fortunate enough to have a circle, you don’t need my luck.
But if not, then parallel lines are your best bet.
~Happily Ever After~
You and I are lovers in a world with a copper sun and a silver moon.
A world where rulebooks are used for making paper planes out of their pages.
A world where distance is equal to speed into time. The speed of our text messages multiplied by the time taken to interpret the expressions crossing your face.
A world where sorry is an innocent apology, and not something you say for the heck of it even when you don’t mean it.
A world where cold comfort is not even a word.
A world where commitment is not a horror story that gives you goosebumps.
A world where life does not look at you like you are some terrible mistake of fate.
A world where you and I met as virgins. Of feelings and thoughts and words because we were never hurt before.
A world where Cinderella, Snowwhite and Alice all coexist peacefully in a Wonderland with their princes and their happily ever afters.
