The chill settles,
The mist deepens,
The mystery thickens.
The world slept,
As you slowly crept.
Unseen, unheard,
The senses in a maze,
Blinded in the haze 
Till I can see no more…


Entrapped,
Entranced,
Engulfed,
Till I can go no more...
Cuddled,
Cajoled,
Captivated,
Till I am free no more...


Even though I know it will never last,
Even though I know your deceitful past,
Still the hope never dies.
Deaf to my own cries,
It rises above your lies,
Like a candle in the balmy nights
Burning till dawn lights....
Stay with me once more,
For I will not ask for more,
Enchanted as I am with you,
Hopelessly in love too!
