In the hands of the Keeper of the Keys
Trembled my soul
The light in her eyes
Shone bright into my black hole
She has locked me
Out of myself
Estranged me from
My essence
She has taken the keys away
To realms unreachable
Leaving me blind
Vacuous, looking for the keys
To myself.
She had them all.
Some pendent from her eyes
Glistening like dew
Some embedded in the soft reaches
Of her arms
Some like the overhanging pearls
From her lobes
While some in the luxurious folds
Of her tresses
There were some
In her shy giggles
And some
In her twinkling eyes
Some in the marks
On her face
The brown tittles, the pink lines
Adornments...
Therein the keys were kept.
My ecstasy, my elixir.
They were the keys
To the areas of my soul
I never imagined existed.
Subtly, unknowingly
She caressed and loved those.
I entrusted her
with the keys to the bits of my soul.
But where did she disappear?
Off to worlds unknown?
And now I am locked out of myself
Unable to reach those depths
Incomplete I am
Without the Keeper of my Keys
