Separate lives,
Separate estates,
Separation at its best
72 hours in tandem
I wasn't looking for that.
I lie awake under the green yellow leaves
Which fly around the courtyard
Green yellow in tint,
In shape and in smell
Green yellow shaped marbles
That glisten under the sun.
White feathers lying on the porch
With enormous eyes
Staring right into my face,
Into my eyes
And into my very being.
I stood beneath his golden palm
Against the red wall
Round and round ran the streets
And my eyes rolled in awe
I followed his chants
As they echoed through the valley
Whilte pillows that shimmered
Against the transcendental moon
I was at the end of my tethers
Only to be told...
It wasn't enough.
