I inhaled deep and looked up,

At the still benevolent sky

Achromatic expanse, nomadic clouds

Somewhere a spread of sienna amber

Effortlessly shying the stars.

My heart is filled with His grace...

For the misty morning breeze

On my face, tenderly caressing,

Stirring a covert calm in me

My ever-spurting fount for the day.

For the blades of grass

Wet with overnight dew

Their green, glittering with pearls

Spread to soften my sinews .

For the yellow weed-flowers

Spreading their gold on velvet

Tiny troopers of beauty, heads high

Inspite their short life, specs of Sun.

For the too-hoo and the ti-tew-trrup

Of the long beaked angels

Singing duets of merry melodies

A sublime solace takes over my soul.

For the dexterous ants

Up and about before me

Busily rushing in rightful rows

Only they know where and why.

An assurance descends upon me

As the fiery orb alights

On its chariot to trace the path

Come what may, the day

Is going to be beautiful!
