Kathir looked into the rear view mirror.  He did not miss Kayal with speedy steps and her eyes focused on getting into the slowly moving bus. Instead of applying a little force on the brake pedal to bring the bus to stop, his hand moved the gear forward and gained speed.
The slow moving traffic hindered the speed of the bus, but Kathir kept the bus moving on.  A cranky smile twisted his lips and he felt happy to see Kayal missed the bus and stood desperately on the side of the road.
“You are a ……., and you deserve this.” Kathir murmured himself.
Sarathy blew his whistle so hard that made Kathir jam the brake to stop the bus.
Kathir turned around to see who boarded the bus. Panting for breath Kayal climbed in through the rear entrance along with some more passengers.
“Idiot, little devil, you always have someone to help.” Kathir moved the bus forward as the signal turned green. Kathir could see Kayal sitting comfortably near the window seat in the middle.  He still could not control his heaving emotions and filthy one-words rolled his tongue.
“One day I will kill you by throwing you out from the bus you are traveling in. I swear.”  Kathir murmured vehemently.
Sarathy moved through the standing passengers and came to the front to issue tickets to the passengers seated in the front seats.
“Sarathy” Kathir called.
“Tell” Sarathy replied without looking at him. Quite busy issuing the tickets, he knew for what he would have called him.
“Why can’t you understand my feelings?” Kathir with his eyes focused on the traffic questioned Sarathy.
“It is my duty to let the passengers in.  This is not your private property” Sarathy turned around and disappeared in the crowd.
Kayal also did not miss the conversation between the two friends, but showed no reaction.  She took a book from her bag and started reading it. It infuriated Kathir even more and the travel turned to be a jerky one.
It happened to be a Friday evening. The congested road traffic moved slowly inch by inch irritating everyone. No one could help it.
The bus entered the outer ring road to avoid traffic snarls. Usually Kathir avoided driving on that road for the speed bumps on the road hurdled smooth driving.  Every time at the bump, Kathir had to slow down and move ahead.  The bumpy ride made him utter foul, filthy words that Kayal hated to hear.
To make her feel disgusted, Kathir always uttered those words aloud. On that day, the front tires refused to move ahead a sharp bump. Kathir pressed the gear hard and moved the bus ahead. With a jerk, the bus crossed the bump but refused to start after that.
Kathir stopped the engine and climbed down to see what happened. One of the tires looked flat. Kathir looked at the window from where Kayal’s eyes met his eyes.
“The bus will not go” with a smile, he declared.
“Hmm.  I know how to reach office on time.” Kayal waded through the crowd and climbed down the bus.  Fortunately, the bus stopped near an auto stand.  Kayal took an auto and left for her office disappointing Kathir once again.
“How long will you escape from me? I will see you are mine one day.”  Kathir’s heart took the vow with vehemence.
The last trip ended around 11:30 pm when the rain started to drizzle.
“Wait for me. I will submit the charge sheet and come.  I have not brought my bike today” Sarathy requested him.
“Yes” Kathir got up from his seat to climb down the bus.  Something under the seats got his attention. Kathir remembered seeing it often.
“Aye… it’s hers” he whistled softly.  “You have come to me.”   Kathir handed over the golden colored watch in the Lost and Found department. He then eagerly looked for the next day to come, the time when Kayal will board the bus.

“Excuse me” Kayal politely called Sarathy.
“Yes. How may I help you?” Sarathy replied.
“I think I lost my watch yesterday in the bus.  Is there any chance of getting it back?”
“Sure.  You need to write a letter to the manager” Sarathy replied bluntly.
“Do you remember finding any watch yesterday?”
“Sorry, I don’t remember. Can you please find it out from the office?” Sarathy moved away from her.  He did not remember submitting any lost item at the office.  Though Kathir submitted the watch, he deliberately refrained from telling Sarathy.
Kayal walked in hesitantly to the manager’s office. That is the first time she is visiting the place. The sprawling space looked enticing and numerous khaki clad mechanics busy with bolts and nuts. Some buses came in to fill diesel and the place smelt of grease.
An elderly person at the counter received her letter and asked her to wait for sometime.  Kayal looked around. No chairs or benches to sit. Kayal moved near the door and waited there.
The person at the counter called her and checked with her the details of the watch. Kayal showed the receipt as a proof of purchase. Then he asked to sign on the letter stating that she received the watch in good condition.  Kayal felt happy to get her watch back.  She walked down the way observing everything there.
Now also Kathir’s eyes did not miss Kayal.  It once again turned out to be a treat to watch her happy face that glowed in the morning sunlight.
“Why is she here at this time?” Kathir questioned.
“Hello” Kathir could not restrict calling her.
Puzzled Kayal looked around.  “Did you get your watch?”  He questioned her again.
“Yes. Thanks.” Kayal replied curtly and hurried towards the gate.
Kathir hesitated to deny that Kayal brought sunshine into his heart whenever he happened to see her. He assumed her his soul mate. Though his calculation on compatibility and frequency of wavelength cheated him in real life, Kayal made him feel the twinkling sensation at heart.
Kathir could not judge if his thinking and liking for Kayal proved ethical or not.

When Kathir reached home, his heart was brimming with love and he felt the need to cuddle closely enjoying the warmth of love. Without the patience even to eat his dinner, he quickly had his usual night bath and changed to clean clothes. The late night bath in the chilled water refreshed his nerves and he could feel his love nerves tightened and yearned for a warm hug.
Kathir rolled to the other edge of the bed and cuddled closer to Nilo.  When she failed to respond to his closeness, a sense of failure gripped his heart.  Her cold response is not new to him. Nilo never took the time to respond back to show she too loved him. She continued to sleep ignoring Kathir.
Initially, the rapport between Kathir and Nilo made everyone feel jealous and their compatibility painted their lives rosy and colorful.  Their early days of marriage provided ample moments to enjoy the love space and spending time together in tight hugs and cuddling love, a rich glow of love brightened their faces.
Days rolled on and an unseen mask slowly enveloped them that never gave them a chance to sit and thrash out their differences.  Both of them unwilling to disclose anything with a fear that one may hurt the other person, the gap grew wider.
Kathir tried to sleep but his grumbling empty stomach prevented his eyelids to close.  Without switching the main light, he walked into the kitchen. As usual, Nilo kept his dinner near the gas stove.  Six idlis with his favorite tomato chutney along with a spoonful of seasoned curd rice deliciously mixed with finely diced carrot and green chillies.
Nilo’s culinary skills were par excellence and she sure had reached Kathir’s heart through his stomach.  Yet, she never allowed Kathir to express his token of appreciation in his way, for he thought just like his fellow men, it is nothing but lovemaking could fully express his deepest love.

Kayal watered the tulasi plant and lit the lamp.  She lit the perfume sticks. The fragrance of the perfume sticks enveloped the place bringing in the comfort at her heart. The dawn has been slowly setting in and the first rays of Sun in the east peeped in through the rims of morning clouds.
Kayal chanting some mantras lit the camphor and completed doing the arathi.  The crows perching on the branch of the neem tree fervently cawed and called her.  That is the first call for her to give them their morning serving, a handful of boiled rice leftover from the night before.
“Wait, wait” Kayal entered the kitchen with a smile. She took a handful of cooked rice and left it on the windowsill of the kitchen.  The crow cawed before taking its share as many crows flew in to pick their share.
While cooking, Kayal loved watching the sparrows that flew down chattering endlessly. Pairs of sparrows competing with one another to get the attention of the other made her smile.
One more pair always won her attention. A red feathered rooster that roamed around majestically with two more hen. The rooster with its striking plumage of long flowing tails, and shiny back feathers always walked proudly.
One of the hens looked submissive and it will give in always when the rooster approached with its peculiar mating dance, dancing around the hen, lowering his wing that is nearest to the hen. The dance received the response call from the hen immediately, and the rooster mounted on the hen for mating.
However, the other one made him run around chasing her.   With its beak holding tightly, the rooster held her. Once the rooster let the hen go, the hen spluttered her feathers with a jerk and walked away with a scorn.
A deep sigh escaped from Kayal.   Every day in their lives, Kayal and Sidharth ran around the unhidden wall chasing each other. Whenever Sidharth wanted to quench his sexual thirst, he approached her demanding cooperation. He never spared a second to admire her beautiful face or appreciate her love curves.
Sometimes, he did not have the patience even to switch off the light.  Without giving a moment to express her willingness, he pulled her into his choking embrace.  Clumsily, he pushed away the folds of her nightdress and pinned her down on the bed.
Most of the times, she choked for fresh air, as he went on to finish off the love chore.  He never asked her wish or how she felt after.  Pulling himself away from her with a rude jerk, he would roll to the other side of the bed and fall asleep within seconds.
Kayal drenched with perspiration and love sweat blinked blindly at the zero watts bulb that lit their room. Tears started to flow down her cheeks and she could feel the heavy burden that pressed her heart numb.
“Kay” Sidharth screamed.  Without a reply, Kayal placed his lunch box near the sofa.
“Are you on leave today?” Sidharth enquired.
“Have an appointment at the clinic.” Kayal replied.
“Hmm” Sipping his tea, he raised his brows with a query. Kayal wished he would ask why she is going to the clinic.  Instead, he pulled a few hundred-rupee notes from his purse and handed them to her.
“Let me know in the evening.”  Sidharth left without expecting her to reply. Kayal blinked to hide her tears.  She had nothing but tears to accompany her.
Her routine check up at the fertility clinic added her pain.  Whenever she went there, the doctor first enquired if Sidharth has come.   Though it may be a routine question from the doctor, Kayal struggled to hide her pain with a vague smile.
Kayal’s first visit to the clinic ruled out that due to tubal block, she could not conceive. Sidharth felt relieved when everything went on normal with him.
Kayal’s problem did not affect him for he never thought about having kids and start a family. Satisfied with his occupied work, he went on as usual.
Kayal walked from the clinic like a zombie.  Drained out of confidence, she walked down the road preoccupied with thoughts. When the bus glided near her smoothly, her eyes involuntarily checked the number.
Seeing Kathir at the driver seat, she boarded the bus without a second thought. Kayal with her heaving emotions struggled hard to hide her tears.
Uncontrolled sobs ribbed through her chest, but she somehow controlled her emotions by looking at the slowly moving traffic.   Her heart desperately needed a patient listening ears and she yearned for a silent listener.
Her eyes once again reached Kathir who was busy gliding through the morning traffic. Unaware of the thoughts going through Kayal and how she wished to connect herself to his solace did not reach Kathir.  However, when he casually turned around to look at the thin crowd, his eyes met the tear stained cheeks of Kayal.
Eyes brimming with tears now and then let a few drops of tear roll down her cheeks.  People standing around her looked at her crying silently, but no one dared to ask her the reason.
Everyone has their own problem and nothing could be done to solve the problem of a third person.  Kayal’s tears disturbed Kathir. He felt a sudden urge to get up from his driving seat and go to her.  She looked like a child lost in the maddening crowd.
Nervously he turned to look at the bustling traffic that moved in a snail’s pace.  After a few minutes when he turned around looking for Kayal, she was not there.
(4).
Last minute work occupied her time and when Kayal left the office, it was 6:30 pm.  It was drizzling lightly and it took more than ten minutes to reach the bus stop.  Usually Kayal would reach the bus stop before 6 pm.  After 6 pm, it would be crowded and the buses screeched with people literally hanging around the steps of the bus.  Kayal decided to wait till the crowd cleared.
By 7 pm, most of the crowd will not be there and there will be at least some breathing space in the buses.  Kayal decided to wait and take the bus after 7 pm.  Sometimes she would take the share autos that were even crowded.
The drizzling rain suddenly turned into a vehement downpour.  The crowd at the bus stop ran to the nearby shops to take shelter.  Kayal stood there in the downpour and the umbrella did not protect her much from the lashing rain.
The rain lashed her with pellets as if punishing for her mistakes.  The chill rainwater made her wavering mind cool down for a while and she stood there shivering.  There were vehicles on the road but they were at slow pace in the lashing rain.
“Hello,” someone called her from behind.  “Someone from that Tata Magic is calling you.” Kayal struggled to see who was inside the car.  To her surprise, Kathir in the driving seat waved her.  Kathir opened the front door of the car and asked her to get in.
Kayal could not decide if she must accept this help or stand in the rain for some more time.  Except the front seat near Kathir, all the seats at the back were filled with women passengers.
“Get in.  It may take another one hour for the rain to stop.”  Kathir requested.
Folding her wet umbrella, Kayal climbed inside the car.   Her dumb heart made her senses also dumb and she just mumbled “Thanks.”
Kathir did not tell her anything.  He was busy driving through the lashing rain that hindered sight.  The sound of the lashing rain and the swishing sound of the window wiper filled around her.
“Do you want me to leave at your home?” Kathir broke the silence.
“Hm.”  Kayal turned around to see if any one was there at the back seat. All the women passengers had left and Kayal was the only passenger.
“I am going home.  No problem to drop you at home.” Kathir spoke to her in a softer tone.
The flooded road made her feel timid and the striking lightening sent a shiver down her spine.
“Thanks.”  Kayal could not refuse his timely help.
“You need to tell me the way.” Kathir smiled at her.
“Sure.” Kayal mumbled. Still in her dumb state of mind, she gave him the directions to her home. Her mind was vague and nothing registered on her.
“Will you please stop here?” Kayal requested Kathir.
“Thanks for your help.” Kayal had to shout as the sound of raining filled the place. Holding her wet dress clumsily Kayal got down from the car.  For a few minutes, she struggled to open the umbrella.
“Nothing is ok with me.” Kayal murmured.
“I don’t think so.” Kathir replied her with a smile.
Kayal frowned at him.  “Bye, see you later.”  Folds of drenched saree clinged at her legs and Kayal walked clumsily to reach her doorstep.  The key slipped in her wet hands and she struggled for a while to open the lock.
As usual, there was no electricity. Kayal lit the candle that she usually kept at the windowsill.  She lit the candle and made her way into the hall.  She could not still come out of the pleasant shock of meeting Kathir at that odd time and his timely help.
If he had not dropped her home, she would literally be stranded on the road. Sidharth reached home only after 10 pm and even if had returned earlier, he would not bother to come searching for her.
It took another thirty minutes for Kayal to grope around in the dark and get changed to warm clothes.  She lit the stove and made some hot tea.  Sipping the tea she relaxed for a while sitting near the door. Frequent dash of lightening lit the place every few seconds.
Looking at the swirling rainwater down the road made her feel dizzy again.   As there was no electricity, Kayal wiped her hair dry with a towel.  She always preferred to dry her thick strands of hair with the drier.
“Why you can’t wait till it stopped raining?” Sidharth’s angry tone shook her up.
“Hm.” Kayal responded reluctantly.
When Sidharth stepped in, the electricity resumed and the entire place turned bright with the light.  Kayal blinked her eyes for the light dazzled her eyesight.
“Why, you thought of picking me up from the office?” Kayal questioned him.
“Never mind. Make me a cup of tea with elaichi.” Sidharth slammed the bathroom door loudly.
(5).
Kayal’s mind drifted to her childhood days.  She remembered the days when her mother would crush fresh, tender neem leaves and made her drink a tumbler of neem juice.  However, when she found out that the neem juice that she drank for a number of days left her sterile and she lost the chances of becoming a mother, her heart shattered to pieces.
The medical report showed minimum instances of success on Sidharth’s part.   Most of the sperm turned out to be immotile and he may require being on prolonged medication to get it rectified. Sidharth not much inclined on this refused bluntly.
“What is the big deal if we don’t have kids?” Sidharth scowled.  Tears rolled down on her smooth cheeks.  Kayal suppressed chokes inside her ribs.  She could feel the pain at her heart. Sidharth defiantly refused to take the prescribed drugs.
“Why don’t you go for artificial insemination?”  Sidharth questioned.
Kayal did not reply him immediately.  The gynecologist also asked the same question.  However, hit her with a different shade.
“How dare he could ask me such a question?”  Kayal blinked her tears away.
For a girl becoming a mother is always a cherishing experience.  Though Sidharth seemed to be broad minded to allow her to go in for artificial insemination, Kayal could not take a decision.  Why should getting pregnant become the only choice to get accepted in the society?  It affected a women emotionally also.
If she gets pregnant with a baby from a mutually fulfilling sexual experience, the women is really blessed.  All through the 280 days or 40 weeks, she must be willing to nurture her baby from the day one in her womb.  The physical, emotional bond that connects the baby with her is the bliss every woman would love to have.
Kayal could not think out of the box and accept Sidharth’s choice.  He may be practical in taking such a decision.  At the same time, he must think how it may affect Kayal or how far she is ready to cope with the pressure through those weeks till the baby is born.
“I don’t mind if this clicks.” Sidharth walked away without expecting a reply from Kayal.
“You mean fellow! Do you know how much pain a girl needs to go through? Do you know how the prescribed drugs acted on the intricate hormones?”
Kayal belonged to this century.  She lived in an age where technology opened all the closed doors.  To think about the days before 80s, the women suffered silently and the society looked at her with a scorn for she did not get pregnant within a year of marriage.  The society has been broadminded enough to accept the ways of new technology that helped the women to enjoy the bliss of women.
Kayal sat down to eat her lunch at a corner in the dining hall.  She always came down to lunch after two pm. Kayal preferred to eat her lunch alone. Half-way through her lunch, she suddenly remembered whatever that happened the day before.   She could understand the circumstances that helped her develop a new relationship.
Knowingly or unknowingly, she started to relish on the growing bond between her and Kathir. Kathir had touched the unknown realms of her heart that yearned desperately for a patient listener who would allocate sometime for her.
Sidharth did not respond to her at times of her need and she started to feel lonely at home.  The loving home turned into a place where they stayed together and spent their time together.
“Hi, May I join you?” Cindy stood with her usual cheerful smile.
“Sure.  Where have you been all these days?” Kayal moved to give way for her to sit near.

“I have been to my mom’s place.” Cindy opened her lunch pack and served her a few spoons.
“Oh. Anything special!”
“Nothing special.  But I have something to share with you.”
Cindy started to narrate her ordeal of going through umpteen numbers of tests to rule out her fertility and how her husband insisted her to go to her mom and get cleared of all blocks.
“It is such a painful thing than getting f….” Cindy’s expression turned wild.
Who made the rule here that only women are destined to go through all the pain?  When a women is ready to go to the extreme level to get pregnant in the name of getting a baby, why god has not made things easier for her.
The society blamed the women for not getting a child and it protected men by not disclosing their unwillingness or accept they are the reason for that.  Fertility and infertile were the two words that zoomed into a peaceful married life and dragged each other to an extreme end extending the limit of pain at every level.
“Better to be like this. Don’t waste money and don’t get into this painful business.  I think it is enough for me. I would not mind to walk away from my family if they insisted me to go through this hell once again.” Kayal listened to Cindy with her eyes wide.

(6).
Kayal could hear the warm breathing of Kathir.  She didn’t know how to react to his sudden nearness.  Should she respond or stay away from him?  She could not decide.  Yet, she could feel the emotional swing between their hearts.
Somewhere deep in his heart he was hurt just like her.  Their hearts relied on each other and wanted to enjoy the new glow of love that simultaneously warmed their forlorn souls.
The traffic moved slowly stretching the time Kayal wished to spend with Kathir.  She desperately wished to open her heart and share the heavy thoughts that burdened her little heart.  Yet, she hesitated contemplating how he may take it.
The traffic came to a halt at the signal.  Kathir parked the car for a few minutes.  As it was raining, the heavy rush of traffic deterred the free flow. The precious time seemed to be godsend. Words rolled under her tongue but her lips refused to open and air her thoughts.
“Do you want to share something with me”?  Kathir questioned without looking at her.
Kayal did not respond immediately to his question.
“If you don’t want to share, no need.”
“It is not like that.  I desperately want to talk to you about this and get a solution.”
“Then, speak out. Unless you tell your problem, no one can help you.” Kathir’s words made sense to her.
“If you think I may help you, tell me how I can help you.” Kathir once again asked her.
“My husband wants me to go for artificial insemination.” Kayal replied in a softer tone.
“Good. This is not something new that is happening. He is correct.” Kathir answered.
“But I don’t want to go for it.  It may have side effects.”  Kayal reflected.
“There is nothing wrong in giving it a try.” Kathir replied.
“I want it to be done naturally, not with medicines.” Kayal answered.
Kathir could not understand at the first instance what she was telling him.
“I don’t understand.”  The red signal turned green and Kathir started the car.
“I want you to help me.” Words failed to be audible.
“What!” Kathir looked shocked.
“Ay, Come out of that trance.” Someone shook her.  Kayal woke up from her temporary trance.
Kayal’s friend Chitra frowned at her. “Kayal, what is happening. Are you day dreaming?”
“No.” Kayal looked around.  She was not in a car beside Kathir.  She was on her way to her office in a bus.  The morning crowd squeezed in to travel for work.
Kayal sat numb for a while.  She could not share this dream with Chitra.  However, when she saw Kathir at the steering wheel, she started to perspire badly.  She could not relate to her daydream.
Whatever she was thinking may or may not come true, yet she could not easily get away from the shocking impact it had on her.
From the day she met Kathir, Kayal frequently drifted into a self-analyzing situation that made her feel depressed at heart.
The term ‘limerance’ now made sense to her.
Limerance: An involuntary state of mind which seems to result from a romantic attraction for another person combined with an overwhelming, obsessive need to have one's feelings reciprocated.
You can't help limerence; it just happens to you, and the first time is much unexpected because more often than not, you don't know what is happening to you, so you imagine it as love. Limerence is love's unhealthy cousin, a child of desire, and a sibling to obsession and addiction. People who have been limerent multiple times can usually tell if another bout of limerence for a different person is coming on. The symptoms, on average, remain constant.
An example to explain what limerence means.
You develop a crush on someone. You find that when you think of them, you get those "butterflies" in your stomach and then become happy by the thought of them. Over and over in your head, you think about what makes them so attractive, so great, not really paying attention to their negative personality traits. Suddenly, instead of thinking about them just a few times per day, that number increases to a couple times every hour, every 30 minutes, and so on. Eventually, the thoughts (and fantasies) become habit because you like the feeling it gives you. You enjoy picturing the two of you together, and he/she reciprocating your feelings. Soon, you find that if you're crush/limerent object (abbreviated "LO") doesn't interact with you, you become in a despaired mood. However, when they do interact with you, you feel like you're floating in the clouds. Why don't you tell them how you feel? One, you're uncertain of their romantic feelings towards you/afraid of rejection. Two, because you're afraid of what they'll think of you after you do or what they might say.

(7).

“Are you in limerence?” Kayal updated her status message in the messenger.
“Hoi, what’s up?” Cindy queried immediately as she entered the chat room.
“Nothing” Kayal never replied in one words.
“Then, what do you mean by limerence, my dear?”
“Limerence is a state of mind. You know that you like someone; but at the same time, it can’t be describe as love. But you would be crazy about this person and to the world you would proclaim this form of affection as a crush.”
“Uh…ur definition…” Cindy sneered at her.
“This limerence is a dangerous feeling.  I can’t just explain it.  The intense of limerence may be more or less.  I am affected by a potential limerent medium.” Kayal sighed.
“OMG!!! What’s happening?”  Cindy jerked away from the chair and came hopping toward Kayal.
“Are you blabbering?” Cindy frowned.
“Do you want to join me in my world of fantasy?” Kayal smiled at Cindy.
“No way.  If I happen to see that guy today, I will slap him.” Cindy threatened.
“Hmm. How I wished to introduce him to you! But not lucky till now.”  Kayal smirked.
“Let it be like that. Otherwise I would have chopped him into pieces.”  Cindy with a warning moved away from Kayal’s place.

**********

“Congrats. You are pregnant.”  The lab technician handed over her the report with a smile.
Lit up with a bright smile, Kayal’s face bloomed. She felt dizzy with bountiful happiness.  The sudden excitement made her hands and legs trembled with a shiver.  Within seconds, perspiration filled her forehead.
Clutching the report with her trembling hands, she slumped on the chair.
The attendant at the lab rushed to her side with a glass of water.  Kayal sipped the water slowly.  It took nearly ten minutes to accept the good news and feel blessed.
“How I wish he was with me now?” Kayal could not avoid this thought. Sidharth definitely would hurt her with some stupid remarks. Kayal called Cindy to share the news.
“Great!” Cindy screamed over the phone. “I love you Kayal.  I would just like to see you now. Where are you?”  Cindy’s jubilant spirit made Kayal also happy.
“I will be there in another one hour.”
“Take off today. Go home and take rest.” Cindy pampered her with loving words.
“No issues. I am coming to the office now. Do you mind having a quick treat with your favorite dishes?” Kayal enquired.
“Sure.  Don’t rush.  Don’t take an auto. Take the bus.” Kayal wanted to give her a big hug and tell how much she valued their friendship.

********

Kathir deputed at a different route rarely met Kayal.  He could have a glimpse of her whenever she waited for her bus in the bus terminus.
Kayal looked pleasingly beautiful with her baby bump.  The radiant glow of motherhood on her face made him feel happy. Whenever he saw her, he resisted his wish to talk to her and ask her how she is feeling now.
Kathir didn’t want to share a secret with Kayal for he didn’t know how she will take it.  The doctor at the hospital used his semen for artificial insemination. Whatever Sidharth gave for the test accidentally went into the drain during the weekly cleanup program at the clinic.  Kathir could not tell no to the doctor when she requested him to donate.
