Rachna grew up in the picturesque town of Siliguri. This little haven that is surrounded by mountains and tea gardens provided her the inspiration to write poems and stories. When she was not studying, helping her mother with her chores and reading books, she loved to sit under the large mango tree writing in her diary with the wind rustling her hair and whispering sweet nothings in her ears.
Apart from writing, Rachna loves travelling, meeting people, listening to music, cooking, reading, blogging and spending time with her family. She has spent the last few years writing a variety of articles for Buzzle.com and Iinfojug.com. Her poems and short stories can also be found on Writing.com and her page on Facebook. Last year her work was recognized on websites like, Fablery and Wordweavers.com. She has also published two of her poems in the Taj Mahal Review, December 2013 issue. Her first book which is a collection of poems, Myriad Hues was released in March 2014. Her second book titled Kaleidoscope - The Changing Colors of Love, was published in March this year. Apart from poems, Rachna also writes short stories. One of her stories has been published in an anthology titled - The Unbreakable You.
