Having spent the first half of her life in Lucknow, UP, Jaya Siva Murty is now settled in Visakhapatnam, AP, with her family and two cowardly dogs. After working as a deputy editor for a leading lifestyle magazine in Visakhapatnam, she is currently the ‘Head of Communications’ for an NGO that works in rural Andhra Pradesh. Beginning her career as a copywriter, Jaya has written for national ad campaigns and dailies such as the Economic Times and the Deccan Chronicle. She is also a member of the Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh. With the thirst to try diverse media, she has also done online content writing, poetry, articles for magazines, and has also published a book called the ‘Canvas of Dreams’. ‘The curse of the Vedic Code’ is her first work in the thriller genre and the second foray into the land of authoring fiction novels. Dividing her time between work and family, she loves stories, and when she’s not reading them, writing them or viewing them onscreen, she’s busy living them.
